Kent artist Ron Chadwick has earned international acclaim for his amazing portraits of pop/film culture icons capturing the very essence of their larger than life characters in intimate detail. Well known for the realistic approach capturing the personality behind the public persona. Ron's work is in private collections in both America and Europe Ron works on large canvases both in oils and acrylics as his preference. He also likes to experiment in abstract art, which he has always done but only recently begun to exhibit. Ron has exhibited for over 30 years extensively in London and the South East and has attracted a variety of clients including celebrities.

Ron studied at Medway College of Art and Design in Kent and left with a First Class Diploma in Visual Communication 1972 -1976 Ron taught privately in adult education then moved to London to pursue his career as a painter, taking many commissions both in the public domain and privately i.e.murals, portraits, illustrations and publications
